DermaFrac™ Reviews: Before and After

Are you curious to know how the DermaFrac treatment works on the skin?

What is a actual DermaFrac treatment?

The Cost and above all else what are the results you can expect.

What is DermaFrac?

DermaFrac™ is a device that is a combined system incorporating a unique micro needling system with Microdermabrasion. The treatment its self is completely pain-free, has no downtime and can be performed within the hour. After a DermaFrac treatment, your skin will be literally glowing.

How does it work?

The treatment begins with microdermabrasion of the skin. This is a mechanical exfoliation that has two actions on the skin. The first is it removes the outer layer of dead skin build-up revealing fresh plump healthy skin cells. The second is it works to increase the circulation of blood in the skin with the vacuum/suction action of the handpiece. The benefit of increasing blood circulation is to bring fresh oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells.

Following the microdermabrasion, a micro-needling treatment is performed. The Dermafrac creates precisely calibrated micro-channels into the skin while simultaneously infusing an active topical serum. These serums are completely customised to your skin condition or concern. There are 5 serums to choose from: Hydrate, Rejuvenate, Vitamin C, Clarify and Lighten.

What results can I expect?

The result is a skin rejuvenation procedure that has no bleeding and typically no pain while enabling enhanced infusion of the topically applied serum. The skin’s texture is smooth and plump giving you the ultimate glow without downtime. Some mild redness may occur but generally doesn’t last long.

What should I Pay for a DermaFrac treatment?

Treatment prices vary depending on where you are situated. At Indulgences we perform this treatment within a luxurious treatment room setting, include a peptide sheet mask post treatment, and hand & arm massage, and scalp massage for $195

DermaFrac Vs Microneedling

There are a few differences here and the main one is that microneedling uses a hand held device with a stamping action on the skin (rather than a rolling action like the DermaFrac). Microneedling is a very effective treatment to target similar concerns as you would have when treating with a DermaFrac however the depth that you work in is often much deeper and can be changed throughout the treatment to target individual concerns. For example you could target a deep wrinkle on a much higher setting then return it to a lower setting for other areas of the face. Microneedling can be uncomfortable, the skin will respond with much more redness and may take 24-48hrs to subside. The following days can leave your skin a little dryer than usual also. Microneedling is a fantastic treatment and great for skin rejuvenation. A DermaFrac is a great starting point and the two treatments certainly complement each other.

Post treatment recommendations

Keeping the skin in optimum health post treatment is easily achieved when using quality skin products. Firstly, to help maintain the skins moisture levels we recommend using Surge or Reboot by Cosmedix. It is also imperative to protect the skin from UV radiation daily, regardless of the level of exposure you have. Using a good quality sunscreen such as Hydrating Face by Aspect is a great option and consider further protection by using a quality mineral make up such as Mineral Irresistible Face Base by Mii Cosmetics.
