We use both hot wax and strip wax depending on the area and your skin sensitivity. Hot wax is generally used for bikini and other sensitive areas because it sets around the hair rather than the skin, which reduces discomfort and irritation. Every client is treated with fresh, disposable equipment, and your therapist will talk you through each step so there are no surprises. Your appointment finishes with a soothing oil, a warm towel and an antiseptic lotion to calm the skin. Most clients find any sensitivity settles within a few hours.

If it's too short, the wax won't grip properly and the treatment will be less effective. Avoid tanning, waxing straight after sun exposure or booking during the days right before your period if you find you're more sensitive at that time. Loose, breathable underwear is a good idea for your appointment and for the rest of the day afterward.
