Diathermy or electrolysis, as it's traditionally known, is a tried and tested permanent method of hair removal. Using disposable needles, a small burst of heat is released into the follicle. The heat cauterises the tiny blood vessels supplying the hair causing the hair follicle to stop producing the hair. Electrolysis is a great option for blonde, white or grey hair that is not suitable for IPL/lasers.
